Location: Manchester or Home-based
Salary: Subject to experience
Hour: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role
  • To be the single point of contact for all aspects of the project, directing and controlling all activities to meet customer expectations.
  • To schedule and host the project kick-off meeting and ensure that the proper communication channels are available and used throughout the project by all parties.
  • To obtain approval of requirements and system design documents and maintain project documentation.
  • To prepare and deliver project progress reports and forecasts for resource planning while tracking all project deliverables ensuring that they are on time, to budget and with the quality expected.
  • To identify and document risks and assumptions and discuss ways to minimize risks throughout the project.
  • To manage relationships with the client and lead all communications by establishing a trusted partner relationship with the client’s stakeholders and liaising with senior management.
  • To interface as appropriate with Subject Matter Experts, subcontractors and consultants to ensure adequate staffing is available to meet customer needs.
  • Strive to identify additional business development opportunities with the client.
  • To provide written input to team members’ appraisals and to coordinate for staffing transition to the next project assignment with senior management.
  • To ensure that the corporate values of the company are actively promoted and implemented at all times.

Skills and Qualification

  • A degree in project management or relevant professional qualification (PRINCE2 or PMP).
  • Demonstrated Project Management competency on a supervised project.
  • General administration and good IT skills in particular MS Project.
  • Previous experience of working on e-learning projects would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a team, autonomously and remotely across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong analytical and data reporting skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
